High Pie Society is an underground, secret pie club in Newcastle for pie enthusiasts to get together for monthly (ish) events and talk about all things pastry based.
So what’s it all about?
Pie themes are chosen by guests so bakers can be as wild or as tenuous as they wish, so a good creative streak is sometimes necessary.
Bakers can bring a non-baking guest to enjoy the delights of pie, however we ask you to only bring one pie lover as each event is an intimate affair.
Locations of High Pie are disclosed up to 48 hours prior to the event to maintain an air of pastry mystery and intrigue!
You don’t have to be a super skilled at baking, but buying your pie is highly frowned upon so the minimum we ask is that you baked your creation from scratch.
If you think your pie would benefit from an accompanying sauce or cleverly crafted condiment, bring it along for everyone to enjoy.
Numbers are limited as we tend to choose smaller, intimate venues so everyone can get to know each other and to maintain the high standards of the Society; so book your place early to avoid disappointment.
There are no membership fees, simply bring with you one Great British Pound coin to contribute towards the venue costs, cutlery and pie paraphernalia.
